Brand Marketing __ Communications.
Designer __ Artistic Director.
Visual Artist __ Maker.
Alexandra Plesner is an Austrian creative director for brand marketing and communications, designer and visual artist based in London, Los Angeles and Main Europe.
With 10+ years of experience, Alexandra has got an extensive knowledge of working with global brands including the Victoria & Albert Museum, Mercedes-Benz, Habitat, Karla Otto PR, Dazed Media, Tank Magazine, and the international design agency Method Inc in a wide range of capacities.
Alexandra had the opportunity to work with an incredible range of industries, disciplines and cultures; this allows her to have a very holistic view when approaching business and design problems. She thinks idiomatic, deconstructs what’s there and reassembles it to create new brand experiences that resonate with the target audience.
Alexandra holds a MA in Applied Imagination from Central Saint Martins. As a practising interdisciplinary artist, she is running the art collective I Scream Factory since 2010. Her work has been recognised by publications such as Wallpaper*, Design Week, iD Magazine, Creative Boom, Refinery 29, Esquire Middle East, Elle Russia, Grazia Italy, YCN and It's Nice That.
A partnership between friends Lisa Nantaterm and Alexandra Plesner: Shine A Light, a digital journal, guided by an idea of taking responsibility for the self, that is more than just physical, the platform reflects their journey of discovery.
