Designer __ Strategist.
Artist __ Visionary.
Alexandra Plesner is an Austrian strategist, creative director, designer and visual artist, based in London, working in digital transformation projects with a brand marketing and communications focus.
With 10+ years of experience, Alexandra has got an extensive knowledge of working with global brands including the Victoria & Albert Museum, Mercedes-Benz, Habitat, Karla Otto PR, Dazed Media, Tank Magazine, and the international design agency Method Inc.
She had the opportunity to work with an incredible range of industries, disciplines and cultures; this allows her to have a very holistic view when approaching business and design problems. Mostly she loves to analyse current affairs, deconstruct what’s there and reassembles it to create new brand experiences that resonate with the target audience, ensuring a consistent creative voice.
Alexandra loves applying her creativity, champion user experience and function as a brand guardian; working with a team to achieve a vision and is particularly interested in bridging business and creative.
Loving to inspire, challenge and ideate with a team and coming from a family of ice cream makers (a small business dating back to 1879), she founded the art collective I Scream Factory back in 2010 during her MA in Applied Imagination from Central Saint Martins. Her work has been recognised by publications such as Wallpaper*, Design Week, iD Magazine, Creative Boom, Refinery 29, Esquire Middle East, Elle Russia, Grazia Italy, YCN and It's Nice That.
In 2017, Alexandra left London for a sabbatical, studied International Women's Health & Human Rights through Stanford University, moved to Los Angeles, and upon her return, founded "Wølf" (Wolf Studios Ltd) in May 2018. A London based line of artisanal jewellery and objects, inspired by the dulcet hues of the Austrian Alps and the casual vibes of Southern California. Explore that primal connection to the wild self.
A partnership between friends Lisa Nantaterm and Alexandra Plesner: Shine A Light, a digital journal, guided by an idea of taking responsibility for the self, that is more than just physical, the platform reflects their journey of discovery.
